London Gliding Club

touring

Once you can fly the world opens up - imagine flying around in the picturesque Alps, waving to passing mountaineers. Or perhaps flying over the lakes and moors of northern Sweden?

And you never have to worry about organising the group - every year there are planned expeditions going to prime sites around Europe.

And most importantly, wherever you go you'll be part of the local community and the gliding club.

it's not uncommon for a club expedition to another gliding club in the UK. Often this is to experience specific flying conditions like hill or wave lift.

just because it's too far
to tow your glider doesn't
mean you can't stop for a
quick flight in the middle
of a business trip.

the world is your oyster - and there are
gliding clubs in some of the most fascinating places.
